In September the last product from the Norce project in Trondarnes Norway will materialize. It is a regional guide to the area around Hinnøya Island and covers the Side Tracks from municipalities of Gratangen through Harstad and Kvæfjord to Sortland. The puplication is a cooperation between three museums: The Boat Museum in Gratangen, Trondarnes Regional Museum and Museum North in Sortland. The guide is financed by Norce, the museums and the municipalities.

The guide focuses on the Side Tracks that may exhibit the real coastal culture and how people live and work by the sea. It presents the area through sagas, legends and myths about the people and creatures that made the land, along with photos from today.

The guide runs through 6 municipalities and 2 Counties. It will be published in Norwegian, English and German.
